In 2001, Jeanine Longo aka Bean or miss. beehave followed a bliss call and left her MA program to become a hairdresser. AVEDA checked all the boxes and trained her as a stylist in Minneapolis MN. After a ten month program she returned home to Brooklyn and opened a tiny hair salon in the heart of a just blooming Williamsburg Brooklyn. The Beehive Salon attracted a motley crew of passionate hair artists from all over the world and a clientele that appreciated the original salon’s quirky, fun low key vibe and of course the salon’s natural approach to beauty in a chemical world. Fast forward two more salon’s and 10 years later…
